I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I opened my email to discover that I had won a Handy Backup in the GeneaBloggers weekend contest! Me! [Probably one of the world's worst losers! I never win anything!!!]
While I haven't explored the info on this product yet, I can't wait to get my "teeth into it", and try it out!
But here's what the company's website has to say regarding this product:
"Handy Backup™ is an award-winning data backup and synchronization software for home and small to medium business environments. Designed for Microsoft Windows® 7/Vista/XP/2000 and 2008/2003 Server, the program is widely recognized as the most powerful and cost-effective backup utility in its class. "
It goes on to state: "Handy Backup has a task-based architecture which enables you to schedule backup, restore and folder synchronization tasks to take place automatically, while you work, rest or have fun.
"We always strive to keep up with market demands and make the utility compatible with the most up-to-date versions of the applications it supports. For example, you can back up Windows Mail (which is successor to Outlook Express in Windows Vista), back up Exchange 2007 (and we're already working on Exchange 2010), etc.
"All customers of Handy Backup are entitled to unlimited free support via phone, Skype, e-mail, or IM."
The website lists wonderful positive reviews of the product as well.
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep this for myself, or give it to my dh. He's as bad as I once was regarding baking up his data! Either way, I'll give it a try, and will give my review on it's use here later. So be watching for that.
And thanks GeneaBloggers and Thomas! Maybe you've broken my losing streak!!!
