Finding records of at least some Holocaust victims just got a little easier.

I visited both Dachau

and Auschwitz

in 1981, and I can tell you, both are memories I will forever have burned into my brain; my memories of these two places are as vivid as if I'd just visited this morning!

Now the Buchenwald Memorial Foundation has placed a list of some 38,000 confirmed victims of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp online. (The list is in German.)
