"In all of us there is a hunger, marrow-deep, to know our heritage, to know who we are and where we have come from. Without this enriching knowledge there is a hollow yearning. No matter what our attainments in life, there is still a vacuum, an emptiness, and the most disquieting loneliness."

I don't have the original. My sister has it. Isn't it just lovely? She has it framed and on the bedroom wall. Dad had it for many years until he moved in with her, and of course she had to hang it immediately when she saw it! What a treasure, huh?
You sent to me to internet to find out more info on cradle rolls. I'm not on one, and I disguise my jealousy by researching. I think my parents were obstinate! Thanks for giving me the piece I wrote today.
