Time for another Saturday Night Genealogy Fun Challenge!
Here’s Randy’s challenge:
Your mission, should you decide to accept
it, is to:
1) Determine what is your longest unbroken line of ancestral gravestones - how many generations can you go back in time? Do you have photographs of them?
1) Determine what is your longest unbroken line of ancestral gravestones - how many generations can you go back in time? Do you have photographs of them?
No problem there!
Although I can list my ancestors in a line much farther
back, here are the longest unbroken lines of gravestones I have.
Since both of my parents are still living, I have to begin
with my grandparents. Namely, my paternal grandfather:
John Monroe Bean
15 Dec 1866 – 10 Apr
1954
my Dad at his grandfather's grave
William McHarvey Bean
26 Aug 1832 – 14 May
1890
Rachel Wiseman Bean
23 Apr 1790 – 7 Nov
1856
Joseph Wiseman
29 Mar 1759 – 27 Dec
1836
Isaac Wiseman
18 Aug 1738 – 3 May
1818
Thanks Randy for another great challenge!
